View Full Version : Who is the victim?
See It Clearly
May 22nd, 2009, 8:59 am
I'm watching the news this morning and they show the video of a black guy getting on a bus and apparently randomly attacking a blind woman.
The other passengers on the bus rise up and take this thug on and stop the attack.
So, given todays "victim" status of our legal system, who is going to receive justice in this and possibly get the bigger payday?
Will the woman who was attacked reap any justice and perhaps cash in on pain and suffering and anything else. Or will the thug be able to claim "hate crimes" laws against those who courageously stepped up to stop this coward from attacking a blind woman?

To anyone with any common sense the only victim in that scenario is the poor lady that was attacked regardless if she was blind or not. I sure know who I would side with if on one of those juries and have a good feeling that if this happened in a more rural setting there would also be no doubt who was the victim.

The assailant and the woman are both victims. It's the bus driver's fault.

That Stupid Lady should have let him rob her. It was her fault for being blind and a woman. This poor black man needs Jesse Jackson to help him out. Just saying what the Left will say before they do.

I'm the left and I carry a Springfield XD-9 in order to stop a fordable felony when I see one.
Let me know when you finally find a clue.

First of all, it should be a felony for the news media or anyone else to identify alleged "criminals" by race. What does being "a black guy" have to do with anything?
But now that he has been identified, try to be reasonable and have some compassion and understanding. Maybe the "black guy" (just as white guys do) was having an angry-day, thinking about the unspeakable social injustices African-Americans have endured in this racist and discriminatory country which white Americans call "the land of the free." Perhaps the young black gentleman could no control himself and was momentarily seized by an urge to take advantage of a target of opportunity to mete out a little "payback" (justified retribution). This is perfectly understandable. It can happen to anyone, black or white.
The "cowards" are obviously the passengers on the bus who came to the blind lady's "rescue." The young black gentleman was seriously outnumbered and abused by the "rescuers." He should sue on the basis of ethnic disrespect.
The woman whom he allegedly "attacked" should consider herself as having made a sacrifice for ethnic diversity and multiculturalism. It should be her consolation -- and hopefully she will pray for and seek leniency on behalf of the young "black guy."
Thank you

Bus passengers put a stop to a black man attacking a blind lady. Black man "claims hate crime laws" against those who stopped the attack.
What on EARTH are you talking about?
In the first place, on the facts of this case, there is no hate crime committed. People stop a black man from attacking a blind woman. Totally justifiable - provided, of course, they don't lynch him on the spot or something like that.
Secondly, hate crime laws are prosecuted in the criminal court system, not "claimed" by someone who has decided to sue other persons in civil court for damages.
You were doing fine until you brought hate crimes into it.

It's nice to see ppl come to her rescue. Also, exaggerated hyperbole. Nobody would ever see the black perp as a victim after watching that.
