I just watched the late night showing of Hannity's America. The second half had the three great American panel guests, which included Geraldo Rivera.
Geraldo Rivera is totally obnoxious. His big mouth dominated the discussions, often to a fevered pitch of yelling, to which the other two guests couldn't get a word in edge wise.
It was a big joke to him, especially when he finished the discussion and got up smiling and shaking hands as if he successfully did what he intended to do: dominate and kill the discussion by not letting others express their position.
The second half hour of tonight's Hannity's America was a waste of time. Tony Danza executed the same strategy: dominate and kill the discussion by talking ad nauseum with a loud mouth, refusing to let others in on the discussion, and force the spotlight on him.
Both Tony Danza and Geraldo are self-centered macho idiots who have the unsatiable appetite to seek attention and kill intelligent discussions.
If either one of these dolts show up on Hannity's great American panel again, I will turn off my television.

What was the discussion topic? Maybe Geraldo is an expert.

Closing Guantánamo Bay. Geraldo said that he was supporting President Obama because he was our President. He denied that the waterboarding did anything of value. He also threw in some hypothetical cases to prove himself right. S. Hannity and the panel did get in the idea that if Obama wanted to expose our secrets to the enemies regarding enhanced interrogation techniques that we should be fair and go all the way and let the public know what good it did.
It was easy to tell that Geraldo didn't want the opposition to have a word. Any good discussion involves everyone taking turns to have their word. Unfortunately, no sooner did the other two panelists begin talking, he interrupted them (along with waving hands).
Geraldo's tactics was intentional - to silence the opposition and defend his President.

Geraldo needs to be retrained like what Ceasar Milan(Dog Whisperer) does on his show with non-submissive dogs. It can be done without humiliaiting him. There are certain types of behavior modification that can be used. He has to be shown who is boss, even when on camera. Like everybody says, it's a cult of personality.:))

LOL. When Geraldo starts to speak, the person next to him should just go "Tshhhht!" and give him a poke.
I commented on this on another thread - I simply don't think that Hannity should have Fox hosts who already have their own shows as panel members. There is a wonderful, interesting, articulate NYC community to draw from, there is no reason to fall back on more-of-same. And Geraldo was rude.

If Geraldo is just now irritating you, you have lived a very sheltered life. He has been getting on my nerves for the better part of two decades. He is an A-1 example of an *******.

You know the same "pinhead" to point out our troops location on camera!
Why on earth Sean invited him to be there to defend America is beyond me! The man is warped and he can't make a decision unless it benefits his wallet.
Shame on you Sean for inviting a liberal blowhard to actually defend our Country. What a JOKE!!!

birddog1,
Last night was just more fuel on the fire. I agree with the idea that Sean should not have panel guests who already have their own show. But it is Sean's show, and he gets to do what he wants.

Conservative American,
My gripe was with Geraldo. Sean cannot nor will not dictate what his guests can and cannot say. Earlier in the day, I watched Christ Matthews .... (sounds of throwing up).
At least Sean allows folks from the whole political spectrum on as "great Americans". Whether any of the panelists display anything great or American is up to them. Sean gives them the benefit of the doubt.
My doubt has run out on Geraldo.

I have never forgiven Geraldo for the ultra liberal "Good Night America" back in the 70s. He was a liberal swine then, and he is a liberal swine now.

When he does let them talk and they start to make him look foolish (like Jesse Ventura did recently), he'll either switch the topic if he has no sensible rebuttal or out-right show his party before country colors and side with Republicans on everything.
Uh...yeah...Ventura made him look foolish by reiterating the same liberal talking points that we have all heard a million times before.
