Has Ms. Pelosi gotten her free pass yet?

I haven't heard anything about in the news today, does this mean it is over?

At what point can we consider her officially forgiven?

If the Whitehouse press office has stopped issuing answers for the media(D) to push regarding Pelosi then the story will no longer be in the press.

She is not forgiven she is forgotten.

Yesterday, when Obama had another one of his non-stop press conferences, he thanked Pelosi for her fine service as Speaker of the House.........she beamed back one of her "Grinch who stole democracy" smiles at Obama, and at that moment I knew that Obama has no intention of asking Pelosi to step down.

Circle the wagons, and don't talk about it...

The last hope is that the CIA gets to release their version of the story...

Pelosi dispatched a top aide to review those notes last week before accusing the CIA of misleading Congress, and she has also called for their release, saying they will vindicate her. The agency is reviewing that request.

It is slipping from the news, as I predicted with 100% perfect accuracy, as I always do, because I actually own a crystal ball.

After I predicted the Democrats would support her despite how egregious and Clintonian her lies and parsing is...

Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) took the opportunity Wednesday to defend House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who has come under fire in recent weeks over a controversy surrounding when she was told of the use of enhanced interrogation techniques being used by the CIA.

...I predicted the Democrats would shrug, then the MSM, then any Republican still seen chasing after this will be part of the "Republican attack machine," a curious entity, since there seems to be no "Democrat attack machine."

I guess it would be the "Republican Attack Machine" to point out how Schumer's attitude used to be "whatever it takes" to protect you and your family.

Well of course it would be - it is cold hard fact.

"Take the hypothetical: If we knew that there was a nuclear bomb hidden in an American city and we believed that some kind of torture, fairly severe maybe, would give us a chance of finding that bomb before it went off, my guess is most Americans and most senators, maybe all, would say, 'Do what you have to do.' So it's easy to sit back in the armchair and say that torture can never be used. But when you're in the foxhole, it's a very different deal."

Must have been an election year....

Democrats have a tradition of defending their own no matter how egregious the sins are.

Yes they do - it must be nice. But then, it helps to have the MSM on your side.

Liberal Democrats don't commit sins, they simply misstep or misremember.

It will be hard for Pelosi to have a free pass on this one. She has said the CIA lied which Leon Panetta was quick to defend the CIA. Yet again, We see that Obama is no where in site on making a tough decision.
Pelosi is a loss cause for the democrats. She will be ineffective at passing any legislation from the white house. We are watching an infection, we don't see the results yet but soon enough the signs and symptoms will present themselves

Are you talking about the CIA thing? If so, CNN did at least an hour on it this afternoon.

My question is, after the pre-Iraq intelligence debacle, do we really doubt that this stuff is actually possible?

As for Pelosi, that idiot needs to provide evidence of such claims.

No - they don't.

When one of our congressman get caught having gay sex in the bathroom, he's done. If you are a Democrat and an admitted lover of male prostitutes and run a service of them from your living room, you get to contemplate capping people's salaries and go on TV a lot.

Please tell me you're not saying there's some kind of double standard going on here...
