I liked the old one, but the new one is Hollyweird liberal at its worst.

Everyone seems to be gay or bisexual, and nobody ever gets killed or hurt. In the pilot, a chase scene sees an SUV and big rig, the SUV going at 100, stop inches from each other in about 25 feet, just so the bad guys aren't harmed after Kitt eludes them.

Oh, and of course somehow a cop lives in what appears to be a 10 million dollar condo on the beach.

Ah, the main bad guys are "Blackriver" - the protagonist was on the ground in Iraq with some of their men - they're just about the money. Their goal is to take control of the US military through an AI (copied from Terminator's skynet - Hollyweird has no imagination,) so they can cause wars and make money.

It's so realistic, because we all know Blackwater security is out there up to evil.

I saw maybe 10 minutes of one episode. Kitt was hit with some kind of napalm and the only way the passengers could survive was if Kitt drove really fast and they got neked.

The plot was aweful and the acting just as bad. I thought I was watching Highwayman instead of Knight Rider.
