Thank you ALL so much for the prayers for my family and especially for my Father as he finished his journey here on Earth...

The prayers were obviously answerd by God in that his last days were filled with peace and pain-free...

He went home to be with the Lord and see his Mother for the first time in many years...

I am down in Houston where my Brother preached my Dad's funeral..

His body was buried at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetary today at 1:00pm after a a 21 gun salute and playing of "TAPS" by the Honor Guard...

I was so proud of my father's service to his country during WWII and think it is great that this country ALWAYS remembers it's Vets..

While we will miss our Dad my brother and I know that the seperation is Temporary and we will join him when our journey on this Earth is done...

Thank you ALL again for your Prayers and wishes..

The Hannity Family is a truly special place with some TRULY AMAZING people!!

Love you all,

Roger

Hi Roger,

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Your father sounds like the kind of man all Americans can be proud of and that we all owe a debt of gratitude to for his honorable service.

Praying for you and your family during this time of grief.

:hug: Roger I am so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful man your father must have been. My father will be 88 this month, but you would never know it. Still driving, does his own gardening, etc., and keeps in touch via his computer. He is a WWII veteran.
He guarded prisoners at Nuremberg, and many other very interesting things. He is awesome. I cannot even think about the day that he leaves this earth. I love him so much. He is and has always been my hero. I am praying for you and your family.:hug:

Oh, Roger, I'm so sorry to know you must now endure without his constant physical presence in your daily life.

But, surely, he now rejoices with the Saints who've found the Pastures beside Still Waters before us.

And he has given you two marvelous legacies to get you through till your own Day of Joy:

1) a deep and abiding faith in the same LORD he cherished all during his own struggles in this Vale of Tears

and

2) memories of his teachings, his hugs, his laughter, and his joy in his sons to comfort you along your own Way Home.

Hang in there, dear brother. Remember our Hope for all the days to come.

Beautiful sentiment Who.

Roger,
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.

Your father must have been a heck of a good man because he managed to raise a fantastic son.

He has left this life for one of eternal bliss.

My God replace the sadness you now carry in your heart with happy memories of your Dad.

Your posts are always thought provoking and inspiring. May this simple note somehow inspire you to know there are people you do not know personally, who have been touched by your fathers life, through you.

May the Lord of Peace bring it to you and your family in great abundance.
