Anyone remember Russell Brand? LINK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Brand)
The host of the MTV video music awards from 2008?
The British 'comedian' who called President Bush " a retarded cowboy" who in England "wouldn't be trusted with scissors"?
The guy who begged the viewing audience to elect Barack Obama "for the sake of the world"?
Well Mr Brand, you got your wish. Is it everything you hoped for?
* What were your thoughts when Barack Obama sent back the bust of Winston Churchill to England?
* What were your thoughts when Barack Obama gave the Queen an iPod?
* What were your thoughts when Barack Obama gave the PM a box of DVDs that won't even play?
* Do you think we can trust Robert Gibbs with scissors?
I feel that he is an embarrassment to this country and an embarrassment to yours. Mr Brand, do you still stand behind this buffoon or do you wish you kept your mouth shut?

Brand is a shock comedian, I do not particulary care for his brand of comedy but he is an opportunist, I am sure before the 4 years are up he will be making jokes about Obama.
You have to remember that President Bush was widely perceived in the UK as an incompetent buffoon. I am not saying that is correct but it was the perception. Any comedian could get a cheap life by inserting Bush's name into a joke.

Have you forgotten that this man is a comedian and writes jokes that he thinks people will laugh at?
Brand knows virtually nothing about politics and would tell you that himself if you asked him
So you are the silly one for taking it so seriously

I doubt he would of cared about those things, or if Obama spat on Churchill's grave.
Brand is a loony fruitcake who I doubt even has pride in his country.

I wonder how much junk there would be in the White House if every President kept every gift they and their predecessors ever obtained from a foreign government?

Brand is already in a bunch of trouble from the BBC for harrassing (funny IMO) phone calls to "Manuel" from Fawlty Towers. I believe he lost his radio show. I don't like what he said at the Mtv awards but he is a funny comedian. His Ponderland show and stand ups are funny

Of course he has pride in his country, British patriotism is different to American.
Why would Obama spit on Churchills grave? I think Americans were more offended by the return of the bust than Britain was. I agree it was crass but sheesh get over it.
