I think we've had quite enough socialism.

Which is incompatible with the Constitution.

Said Constitution is compatible with capitalism.

In conclusion: I also think we've had enough of Chairman Dean.

I certainly have.

Why are all these democrats coming out now against everything that has made America great? If not for the capitalism they loath so much, none of these clowns would have the money they now have.

Hellsbane, it's because they think those are the things that made America BAD.

To people like Chairman Dean, America wasn't great till it came with social programs and wealth redistribution.

That was one odd web site. I'm assuming Foxnation isn't affiliated with Fox News in any way. That site looked to be the primary news venue for the people perpetually mad about everything.

Dean was arguing that pure capitalism sucks. That is why we in the US have never had a truly capitalist system and have the current hybrid between capitalism and socialism. We can argue all day about where the needle should be between either extreme but we have not had anything like unchecked capitalism for a long time, if at all.

You've got to make bigger cuts. You're also going to have to have some revenue increases to pay for all this stuff. There's no question about that. And my favorite is a carbon tax.

Scary... just scary.

Absolutely NO good for this nation will come of either.

I never said the material on the site was fake. The format had links to real news stories like Drudge but it didn't apear to be a real Fox News site. They at least have a wider variety of stories and not just and entire compilation of faux outrage material. It looked like someone just made a site of links to outrage material under a phony Fox banner and smiling face of Reagan.

Some of them robber barons of the late nineteenth century might argue that we HAVE had pure capitalism...........

Howard Dean is still nuts though.

So I expect him to immediately voluntarily give away all his wealth to the Holy State so that it can provide for all. Until then, he is just another hypocrite socialist for everyone but himself like all the "elite" are.

I think some one just made a fake FOX NEWS and just linked all of the antiobama stuff on it.

Because Dean is a member of what, in my opinion, has become the American Socialist Party, formerly known as the Democratic Party. Biting the hand hat fed you is one of the requirements to be a member. So he doesn't really have a problem, just toeing the Party line.
