"Behold the Fear Factor coffin, a stunt so frightening that it generated one of the most intense reactions we've ever seen on the show. Of course, you'd probably have a pretty intense reaction, too, if your body were completely covered in thousands of snakes, worms and giant hissing cockroaches."

Look at that poor girls face... I bet she would beg to be waterboarded to stop this torture!

I always hated that show, and wondered hoenstly how it got away with some of those stunts. Oh yeah, because the moron contestants most likely signed waivers.

Hey! I liked Alf... and the guy on there reminded me of Joe Lieberman. ;)

I'd go with Rosie O'Donnell's "Rosie Live" variety show last year as NBC Torture deserving of a World Court hearing.

Pretty sure she was trying to win money.

Don't think it can be called "torture" if you're doing it VOLUNTARILY.

Congratulations... you get my point. People (mostly journalists) have been lining up to be waterboarded ever since the issue came to light... therefore is can't be torture, because nobody in their right mind would volunteer to be tortured.

Seconded. Anybody who could put fear in the cat population couldn't be all bad.

The thing of it is, there are an awful lot of people out there who really aren't in their right minds. I'm sure more than a few of them are NBC viewers.

They could do a whole series.

Democrat Fear Factor: "Vote for this tax cut."

Telemarketer Fear Factor: "Give out your home telephone number."

Lawyer Fear Factor: "Make a phone call without being on the clock."

Soccer Mom Fear Factor: "Drive this Prius."
