I'm not doing any server side stuff. It's a basic website for a nonprofit group but they want their own domain. I've designed and packaged the site for them and now they want me to find them a reliable, fair webhost. The reviews are all over the place, does anyone have any suggestions?
I've used Webhostingjury.com and I really like the way inmotionhosting.com looks.

I use Go Daddy and have has zero problems in the 4 or so years of using them. the basic is about $3.99 a month.

I've heard that aplus.net is reliable.
I use www.sitelutions.com for resolving my dns name as it is free and I host my own site at home. Most ISP's offer a business solution, so you may want to check with your ISP if you plan on hosting yourself. I'm pretty sure that Comcast offers free "basic" web hosting so I would suggest contacting your ISP first.

I have godaddy and another, lesser known host. As far as godaddy, the price is cheap and you get plenty of bandwidth and space, but their support is slow and they don't offer many preconfigured scripts.

I used to use GoDaddy. Their performance was good, their pricing was better than anyone else.
But now I am using Bluehost and I prefer the better performance for the extra couple of bucks it would cost to use them over GoDaddy.
For the most part you might see an extra $1/month but the performance is awesome.
God bless,
Johnathan
