So, we have idiots that come into work no matter how sick they are and don't mind passing off their crap to everyone in the building.

The boss comes in hacking and coughing 3 weeks ago. He doesn't come in every day but he makes it in at least once or twice a week. His wife is here almost every day. She got it from him. Then one of the salesmen picked it up and wouldn't go home even during the height of the swine flu "panic".

Now me and one of the accounts receivable people have this nagging cough with sinus stuff going on.

Why don't people have the good sense to stay home when they're sick?

Airborn--when the people around you are hacking like that stock up on airborn and vitamin C. You may not be able to NOT get sick, but it will shorten your illness.

Yeah that's the general rule. I slipped this time and am now paying for it.

With the tail end of this swine flu thing, it's funny to see the looks people give you when you cough...though I try not to go out into public.

I have terrible allergies, when I forgot to take my meds a couple of days ago and was sneezing and hacking, I just told everyone it was swine flu:)

It always has irritated me for people to go to work sick. Hope you get to feeling better.

For the same reason parents don't have enough sense to keep their kids home when they're sick.
