OMG! This stuff is WONDERFUL.
It is made with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.
It tastes half as sweet as regular soda with no nasty after taste or residue.

I'm not a Pepsi fan, I may try the Mt. Dew though.
I'll sometimes go by our local Hispanic Market and pick up some Mexican Coca~Cola since it's made with real sugar...definitely has a better flavor.

Yeah...the Coke in the Dominican is made with real sugar too..I could not get enough of it while I was there....
I am a Pepsi fan..so I may have to look into this stuff.

I just saw it out last week here in our neck of the woods. It's only for a limited time.

Both of them are amazing. I've never cared for Pepsi but Pepsi Throwback is epic. Mountain Dew Throwback is slightly better than regular. I recommend both of them.

Per a report by Serious Eats, the pricepoint for both of these products will be the same as regular high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) sweetened Pepsi and Dew. Their availability will be from April 20-June 13,
Better get crackin'. :))

Mexican coke is definitely worth the extra cost.
I buy it whenever I see it at a store.
I hope Pepsi keeps the cane sugar variety on the market indefinitely. So much better tasting than the HFCS stuff.
I'm also liking the new "Pepsi Natural" too. Has almost a "woody" liquor taste to it.

Anyone else notice that you drink sugar soda slower than corn syrup soda? Or is it just me?

They sell Jones cola here, which is made with sugar. We buy that. I don't really drink soda, but if I see that, I'll pick it up. Also, over Passover, if you see kosher for Passover Coke, it's made with sugar instead of corn syrup, even if it says otherwise on the label. Just an FYI.

That's just parve, which means there's no dairy or meat products in it. I can't tell if that's kosher for passover.

I think this new Pepsi tastes less sweet than Jones.
I like Jones as well.

If anybody has a chance, checkout a Coke made in the MIddle East. It's made with beet sugar. If you are addicted to sodas, you will soon be free of that addiction.

Not only that, but you drink less. I know when I pick up a Jones soda I can drink 1/2 the bottle and be satisfied with that.

Nothing says 'fun' like Kosher for Passover Coke.

Its a different type of sweet. Its smoother and less acidic.

BTW- I usually laugh at pretty much every conspiracy theory, but the only one I buy into is that the "New Coke" fiasco of the 80's was a way for Coka Cola to disguise their switch from sugar to corn syrup.
Before new coke they used sugar. Afterwards, HFCS. Hmm...

Yay!!!! I love soft drinks with real sugar. For a while you could still get coke in a mini glass bottle with real sugar, but they changed that too. I'm a coke fan but I'll switch to pepsi if they keep the throwbacks.

Not really sweeter, it's less sweet in my opinion.
I picked up a 12 pack of Mountain Dew Throwback today, man what a treat.
For a brief moment I was reminded of my childhood...HFCS, they say it's the same but it isn't the same.

Haven't tried the Mountain Dew, but the Pepsi Throwback reminds me of real Pepsi from the 50's.
