Yes we need to know that.

Rhet is the reason I am here. My mom had cancer surgery a couple years ago in Birmingham. At night after I left the hospital I would go to a computer in the hotel lobby and argue politics here at hannity. In passing, I mentioned to a poster that I was posting from a hotel and that my mom was having cancer surgery. Rhet PMd me and asked if I minded is she prayed for my mother. She didn't know me at the time and I was impressed that she was willing to pray for the mother of a person she didn't know very well. The rest is pretty much history. At that time I started praying over all these Overcomming Obstacles threads and have been doing that most every day since. That's just how God works, he sometimes uses people to accomplish His perfect plan. I cannot explain how improtant to me it is to pray for you guys every day, and all that started cause a Christ filled follower of Christ (Rhet) was willing to answer His call and reach out to me. Then came December 20, 2008 and this forum took on a whole new meaning. All that has been accomplished through your prayer and support for our family since Mitch's accident all goes back to that night in Birmingham.

If Rhet were here right now she would tell us to keep praying for each other, so that's what we gotta do. I miss you my dear sister, please come back soon.

So far, so good.

It took ages to build the boxes and show her how to plant and water etc.-- total beginner without a clue, and a billion and one questions. She's a sweetie with a lot of emotional and physical problems, so the effort to "connect" with her and her kids was worth the time and hassles.

Didn't expect the money -- and didn't turn it down, either. :))

I'm becoming very passionate about gardening, anyway, and would love to do it professionally -- if I could figure out how to not sweat quite so much in this abominable heat we're experiencing, that is.

I didn't think there was anyone not informed about a garden, I love gardening and planting flowers!! My Mom was the President of the flower show in El Paso when I was thirteen, fabulous show!! I was in summer band at the time. They gave me an excellent education, never thought about it until people became so drastically stupid to the core!!!!
