Hi I am a new forums poster and will start my first thread with this question! Who do you like better on radio and on TV, Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck? It seems like Glenn is becoming more popular but many do not like his style and some of his opinions do not seem to be in line with Hannity's opinions. Does Sean Hannity support We Surround Them? Is he an ally because I have not heard much of what he thinks about it. If I had to rank Fox personalities, I would put Hannity and Beck at number one, tied! So what do you think??? :boohoo:

I like them both a lot but Glenn Beck cracks me up. I like the way he explains things so that i understand them. I'm semi new at this whole politics thing, so sometimes i need things explained to me like i'm an idiot. lol

I like Beck, but I am never home when his TV show is on, and they don't play his radio show in my area. If this wasn't the case, I would listen to him more.
I really have to commend Beck, he was one of the only Conservative talk show hosts that acknowledged there was a problem with the economy early last year.

Mark Levin. Sean is a very close second.

Meh.
Sean is OK, so is Beck, but they have totally different styles. Beck is more manic and Sean seems more thoughtful.
Depends on my mood. Most of the time these days I dont bother turning my radio on anymore.

Loaded question... that's like asking "who do you love more? Your wife or your mother? ... with them both standing their waiting for your answer. ;)

I enjoy Glenn much more. But I'm a sick twisted freak, so it kinda makes sense.
I DVR his show to watch after the kids are in bed, and I try to catch his radio show online sometime during the day. I stream it from here:

Mark Levin.
I can't listen to him long enough to form an opinion one way or the other. His voice annoys the crap outta me

-Hannity. Far and away, Hannity. Somebody in an earlier post used 'manic' to describe Beck, and that was very appropriate.
-And yes....Hannity also has an awesome forum.

I don't care for Beck due to his lack of journalistic integrity. If it weren't for the election and the economy I doubt he'd have anything substantial to talk about. Everything seems recited and unoriginal. Not to mention...he acts like he's missed a few doses of whatever medication he needs to ensure he keeps his cool.
Oh...and it wouldn't hurt if he would've been honest about his change of networks too...$$$$. All that mess about taking a "different approach" to reporting cable news is just bull.
I choose the lesser of two evils...HANNITY

Oh my gosh. I've never listened to him before. I remember bookmarking a link to his podcast telling someone I'd listen, but  you're right!!!! Totally doesn't sound like I expected from his picture.

Glenn needs to replace Shrill O'Reilly at eight followed by Sean at nine and Greta at ten. Put Shrill on at eleven.

Glenn Beck is not and has never claimed to be a Journalist or a News Reporter. He is a Commentator and an Entertainer, pure and simple. And of course he makes more money on FOX... it was no secret, that is how audience share works... he who has more listeners makes more money. He may have had the only really popular show on CNN, but he had reached the ceiling and had to move to get the larger audience. That makes him smart, not dishonest or greedy.
On the other hand, his integrity is unsurpassed. He spills his heart and speaks his mind without regard to what you and I think of his words. His show operates on the premise that if you don't like what he says, too bad, you don't need to listen. Considering his ratings, it would seem that most people who tune in, enjoy him enough to keep coming back for more. And while he acts like a clown, he may very well be the most sincere, honest, deep thinking person on the air waves.
BTW... Hannity is not and has ever claimed to be a Journalist either...
Why is it I doubt that you have really listened to either one of them...

I like Sean the most....although I don't always agree with all his views. Of course, he's doing pretty good of late.

TV show: Beck
Radio Show: Hannity
I must say that watching Hannity the first time was a bit dissapointing after hearing the radio show, But it could've just been the episode I saw. I must say I love the radio show, especially "Man on the Street Thursdays"

I love Sean Hannity! If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have anyone sticking up for us conservatives. Although Sean you do beat the subject with a hammer sometimes (repetative) However, I can watch you 24/7. Glenn Beck is refreshing and honest as well, aittle too much drama but I love the end of his show when he gets serious.
TV line up should be - Greta at 5, O'Reilly at 8, Hannity at 9 and Beck at 10:00
LOVE FOX NEWS!

I've caught Glen Beck now a few times in the late afternoon...and I'm still trying to make up my mind about him. I love it when O'Rielly has him on his program...now that's entertainment.
Sean...well, the new format just doesn't pull me in like the old one did. Without Colmes...well, it's just not the same. I still listen though...Sean always has some new story to bring to light.
Now my main man is O'Rielly....just love Bill! But then again, I like my old men grumpy...lol.

Beck, far and away.....If for no better reason (which won't result in a COH violation anyways) that he doesn't keep recycling the same extremely limited roster of guests.

Sean is better on the radio, but Glenn's TV show is better. But now that Sean doesn't have to deal with Alan, I hope he continues to improve the TV show.

I love Glenn Beck!!! Honestly, I rarely even listen to Hannity anymore, it seems to me his show is all about republican talking points and very little of his own thoughts. Beck seems to be more his own man, thinks for himself. I like that. Honestly, can't stand either show on TV though...

LOL... It is kind of hard to take Beck seriously when you see him in the flesh. :D
But I have come to enjoy that aspect of his show now. His antics the other day with the head of ACORN were classic. ;)

Andrew Wilkow. Think a more intense Beck but without the Alex Jones tin-foil stuff.

For me, it's Laura Ingraham or Boortz from 9:00-12:00; then Rush from 12:00 to 3:00; Sean from 3:00-6:00, with Glenn Beck on TV from 5:00-6:00; O'Reilly from 8:00-9:00; and Hannity's America 9:00-10:00.

I like them both, but there is something about Beck that keeps me intrigued. Maybe it's the emotional roller coaster that he takes his listeners on or the way he can explain everything in lay man's terms like I need sometimes.

Dissing Sean's friend Beck is a TOS violation.
... and no extra points are given for brown nosing the host. ;)
