Objective: To switch, upon opening, from Baquacil to the BBB system.
Problem: Cheap. Don't want to buy expensive test kit. Spent enough on Baquacil last year!!!
Current situation: I bought Aquachem testing strips and Aquachem PH and Chlorine drop tester kit.
Question: Do I need to shell out 70-90 bucks for a professional test kit to make this change and to maintain? I have read extensively about the switch. I know HOW to make the changeover but can I trust my numbers?
I would post at the pool forum I have been lurking on but they really push these 80 dollar and up test kits! If I REALLY need one, I will buy.
Does anyone have any advice for me here?
I fear the first reply, if I get any, will be Buy the Kit~
