As you can see here, she is stepping out into the world of public service as a member of President Obama's Cabinet.

Just coming off the wires now, Miss Kitty was appointed as Secretary of the newly-formed Department of Animal-Derived & Hyped Disease (ADHD).

I don't think she's been to make up yet, (I hope this isn't plastered on TMZ), but doesn't she look ready to take charge before her first press conference?

And for the record, she has paid her taxes. (Sending catnip in the envelope counts, right? Hope it didn't get thrown out with all the tea.)

No, see. Miss Kitty supports a nip-backed currency. She's better on monetary policy, I suppose.

Fiscally, she is a moderate. Would call her conservative, but she has a propensity to spend too much on feather toys and robotic mice research.
