Sony's Pyramid 2009 would tape in New York if it is approved for CBS Daytime. Sony executive Michael Davies is prone to New York-based shows, as we've seen with all of his shows (Millionaire, Power of 10, Chain Reaction 2006).
Endemol's Deal or No Deal is also moving East in the fall. The 22 contestants and their cases move to Waterford, CT, thanks to a huge 30% tax break for producing television in that state that lured the production company owned by Bush ally Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi (who owns Endemol) to Connecticut.
