I don't think they're going to pass a "Socialized Healthcare" of any kind.

They MIGHT pass something to give insurance to people who need it and don't have it, but that's about the extent of it. It's not going to affect my personal health insurance.

They still have 1994 fresh in their heads, and what happened then, how they lost Congress due to things like health care and gun control.

I think the Mass. model is a good one, last year they had everyone covered for around 3 billion dollars. Since there is 6 million people in Mass, thats around 200 billion dollars a year more or less to cover every citizen.

Standardization of health forms, computerization of records, and significant tort reform can pretty much save that per year.

So perhaps, just perhaps, the sky isn't falling at all.

Obama could have done it in his first 100 days! He had more votes than W ever had! And Dems acted like W was invincible, yet were acting like Republicans wouldnt let them do anything for the past 100 days!

I thought barry and the gang said it would be free?
im also paying my mortgage and for gas in my truck.
