This group of students seems very interesting to me.

They want to preserve respect for Western Civ and promote its values.

But really, I have to wonder; does Western Civilization even exist any more?

I am all for preserving western culture but not if you are going to use it to force your magic based morality on the entire nation. Live and let live, if you want to hate homosexuals in your own home or church then go for it but don't try and limit their rights or anyone else's for that matter.

BTW, the homophiles wont let anyone live and let live, thats the reason they are now pushing an expansion of the hate crime laws to make it a hate crime for anyone to 'inspire' any negative action against a homosexual in the point of view of the victim.

So Pastor Bill does a sermon reading from the Bible how homosexuality is a perversion before God.

Chrissy's cousin Dufus then goes out and spray-paints seom gang tag on a guys house who he doesnt know is a homosexual.

Homosexual Thal then prosecutes Dufus but also Pastor Bill, alledging that Pastor Bill is the one to blame for inciting what Dufus did to him.

But that is OK because the sooner the church goes underground the sooner we shed loose of all the pretenders and poseurs who weaken the church and water-down its doctrine.

And the church will emerge triumphant and even stronger down the road.

If by "Western" you mean cultures that originated from Europe then I would say Western civilisation has cultural influences from Ancient Greece, Rome and the Renaissance.

It is democratic, with free-thinking, human rights and equality as its core values.

Western Civilization was a branch of the Christianised West that was heavily influenced by Irish Christianity, which was more individualistic and humanistic than the more traditional forms of Christianity.

As the Dark Ages rolled out, the Irish had the majority of higher education in the West and formed the intellectual vanguard for Western Europe that was ruled by the Franks.

The influence of the Irish on the Franks and through them all of Western Europe defined Western Civilization and its values.

We today are no longer Christian nor humanistic, nor rational and truthful as far as that goes either.

We are a culture of pop values, respecting only money, power and popularity and nothing else matters among our ruling elite.
