You understand that the guy has the #1-rated show on MSNBC and is watched by millions of people every week? He's quite successful, however much you dislike him.

Hannity said he would endure water boarding to show support for the troops, Olbermann supported Hannity's claim buy throwing in $1000.00 per minuet.

Since then, Hannity has been silent.

"Charles Grodin was challenging Hannity on the issue on Fox last week, and asked whether he would consent to be water boarded.

"Sure," Hannity said. "I'll do it for charity ... I'll do it for the troops' families."

Olbermann replied by offering a "$1,000 to the families of U.S. troops for every second Hannity withstood the technique."

Come on Sean...Show your support.

No he doesn't.

After Sean said he'd be waterboarded for charity, Olbermann offered $1000 for each second Sean lasted.

I wouldn't want to watch Sean being waterboarded, but I'd sure enjoy seeing the ever finger-wagging, shrieking and interruptive Shrill O'Reilly being waterboarded.:)):)):))

It'a not hard to get the #1 show on MSNBC. All you need is 15 viewers and you're the top dog over there. You couldn't add all their shows together and get a million viewers.

Olbermann is more successful than Michael Savage and Phil Donahue were.

Fox News personalities and Olbermann both make me cringe sometimes at some of their wanton distortions.

FYI - the following graph based on 2008 data clearly shows that Countdown regularly draws more than one million viewers...the data also suggest an upward trend.

Dammit, do you ever think or do you just project your every thought onto the world, as if your mere thought reflects reality? And do you understand the difference between average and aggregate viewership?

Olbertool doesnt understand the difference between dog **** and food....but hey....

1.4 - 1.5 million doesn't really qualify as "millions of viewers"...that's more like several hundred thousand..

That graph was only for ONE SHOW on MSNBC (your comment was about MSNBC in general, not just Countdown)

If the viewers of the 23 hours of other programming on that station (including the late showing of Countdown) total more than 500,000, would you consider that "millions of viewers"?

Looking at the stats for yesterday prime time for all of MSNBC, they are not even at 1 million.

Can you explain to me how a station has more viewers during prime time than it does for the total day? Are those numbers hourly averages?

P2+ Prime Time
FNC – 2,516,000 viewers

P2+ Total Day
FNC – 1,345,000 viewers

Regardless, if 947,000 people watched MSNBC from 8 to 11 Eastern Time, I'd say it's a safe bet that 1,053,000 tuned in some time during the other 21 hours of the day...

Probably because more people are at work during the day than during primetime. But at the end of the day 1,053,000 is million singular...not plural.

Being the #1 rated show on a network that is watched only by people with room temperature IQs is NOT an accomplishment. That's like being the captain of a garbage scow. Sure, there are people below you, but the work still stinks!

Why should Hannity listen to Olberjerk?

What qualities does Oldermann have to be an "objective journalist?"

That wouldn't make the total viewers in a 24 hour period a lower number than the viewers in a 3 hour period within that 24 hours.
But at the end of the day 1,053,000 is million singular...not plural.

add it to 947,000

Only if the theory is the numbers for prime time are does not already include the daytime number.

But in any event, that would give MSNBC exactly 2 million and that definitely put MSNBC into having "millions" of viewers. Its like having $2 instead of $1.
