Should it be illegal? What do you think? It's a very contentious issue.

I say legalize it.
It has never done any harm.
I think that's it's silly, all this arguing about keeping it illegal.
It is a good thing.

it's easier to just have everything be illegal. Then, after everyone is in jail, someone really important and special will come around with a magic wand and tap people on the head. If you're tapped, you can go play, if not, you're stuck in where ever they're going to keep everyone.
the magic wand is very important though, so we have to be careful who gets it.

That's a good point. Illegal or not it will still be done, but is that reason enough on its own to keep it legal. It's hard to say.

The facts are well known. All that remains is sorting out the relevant issues surrounding it.

You don't need documents to be able to provide an informed opinion, the issues are well known. Should it be illegal?

That's not a good enough reason to make it illegal or legal. The merits of it should be the reason.

I don't think it should be legal. It would lead down the slippery slope toward more and more of it. If we legalize it, what's to stop us from moving right on to the other thing?
