I've been wondering WHERE the hell all these wussies came from.
I can't remember anything close to this when I was growing up.
Have we raised a crop of babies, afraid of their own shadows, fearful of offending anyone, even those who attack us?
Mommas, don't let your cowboys grow up to be babies!

There was one here on this forum making the same comparison.
Their sympathy is solely with the terrorist, extremist enemies of America, and they have no concern for the victims, past or future.
Same hypocrisy that lets someone be For abortion, but Against the Death Penalty. Support the criminal, always, and screw the victims, always.
Pathetic, but I support their freedom to voice their opinion, even if I strongly disagree. But I am sure they would love to control all the opinions too, so only their side is heard.

Libs on this board are comparing the CIA to Pol Pot, waterboarding to Khmir Rouge and the terrorists to your mother, wife or daughter. It's the only way they can rationalize they're support for these guys. The lib logic follows that if you don't support your mother being tortured by Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge then you should also not support waterboarding terrorists who have info on future planned attacks. Problem with that line of logic is that most of us see thru it as the BS it is.

Look up Vann Nath's art. Or just look up Vann Nath in Wikipedia.

Just did, and I read the article. I'm so glad that it clears up that America is nothing like the Khmir Rouget. Thank you for bringing that to light.
Will you be posting a link to a photo of a holocaust gas chamber to try to compare Americans to the Nazis because they used gas chambers to execute innocent people and we use them to execute murders?

Murderers had a trial.

Murderers had a trial.
Nazi's tried and sentenced undesirables to prison, sterilization, castration or even death by gas chamber. So I guess those actions are ok by you as long as there was a trial.
Do you even think before you post your comments or are you so embroiled in this line of circular logic that you have lost touch with what common sense should be telling you.
It's not necessarily the actions that are good or evil, it the PURPOSE behind those actions that make them so. You can't say torture is universally wrong anymore than you could say killing is universally wrong. Sometimes killing an enemy trying to kill you is justified if it means saving your life or the lives of others. That justification extends to what you libs are calling torture in this case also.

Eugenics was practiced in the US until the 1970s.

Which circular logic?

Ends justify the means you are saying.

Sterilization was practiced in the US yes, and those institutions do get a well deserved comparison of practicing Nazi tactics......how does this help your point?
Circular logic go - Bad people have used waterboarding=waterboarding must be torture. Only bad people torture=USA must be bad. USA must be bad=enemies of USA must be good because only bad people waterboard.
Do you take offense that I am insinuating that you feel the terrorists are the good guys? Well why do you keep trying to equate the waterboarding of men who are planning to kill people all over the world with the waterboarding of innocent civilians and trying to draw a correlation between these two types of people?
Certain ends justify certain means, yes.

Bad people have used waterboarding=waterboarding must be torture. Only bad people torture=USA must be bad. USA must be bad=enemies of USA must be good. Enemies of USA must be good=enemies don't deserve waterboarding.Where is my logic go like that?
Waterboarding is torture as described by John McCain, Matthew Alexander, Malcolm W. Nance, and many others. Wikipedia them all yourself.

Eugenics is still practiced in America via Planned Parenthood with the Sanger doctrine.
It's never stopped.
I love liberal thought process.
Terrorist water boarded = torture
Partial birth abortion = choice
To say that liberals are ethically challenged is an understatement these days.

Any of those guys terrorists?
Wikipedia Bill Brady, Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln and I'm sure you'll find they think getting shot really sucks....that doesn't mean we don't give cops guns to stop criminals and protect civilians.
When a crime suspect pulls out a gun and is shot dead by police, where is his trial and due process guaranteed by the Constitution? Or do we grant police officers the jurisdiction to use their own best judgment in that situation?
And where does you logic go like that? In your posts my friend, in your posts.

Yes, it is an incomprehensible line of logic.

Khmer Rouge were as bad as the SS Nazi's, if not worse. The lib caller secretly wanted to compare us to Nazi Germany.

One of them was an interrogator and one of them was a Seres instructor iirc, both military.

That analogy doesn't quite fit, as the 2 of the 3 guys I bought up weren't victims of the practice but closer to cops in your example.

The people being waterboarded are detained and under complete control. Or is waterboarding an act of immediate self-defense?

did they compare water-boarding to the Kamir Rouge or did they say it was one of the tactics they used?

So it fits for McCain. And even if those guys do feel it's torture it doesn't mean we shouldn't use it because many things can be considered torture by different people. No matter what we do there is always going to be some hand wringer who thinks it's too much. Faux outrage over using "poisonous" caterpillars anyone?
It is an act of immediate self defense if the person being detained knows information about a plot to kill thousands and getting that info out of them as quickly as possible will increase the chances of preventing that act.
