Give me one reason to believe Romney wouldn't be just as generous with bailouts as dufus is.

Or as "protective" of our 2nd Amendment rights.

I just wanna know what the deal is with Joe Biden's teeth. He looks like he should be doing a denture commercial, seriously.
OK, seriously though, Obama is one of THE most under-qualified presidents (if not the most) in our nation (politically, academically, mentally). He is NOT any kind of genius, grand savior, innovator, etc..(socialism is a tried and failed government framework. A "fools errand" if you will ) He is a lawyer that knows how to tell a jury what they want to hear. His textbook narcissism is becoming more and more evident everday (this is why he relies so heavily on the teleprompters, pre-selects press members and their queries, etc.. as his ego won't stand to let him be perceived as incompetent in any way shape or form) Bush was just not good at public speaking no matter what you put in front of him, however, he can at least respond off the cuff, unlike BO (I have to say when you're the president and your initials are B.O., the material writes itself).

Romney always struck me as the "ambitious for the sake of power" more than even Barack Hussein Obama.

Still don't get it do ya. Aside from Ron Paul they were ALL using the same playbook. Romney would be every bit the disaster Obama is . Only difference-fanatic repubs would praise his presidency and the bailouts as fanatic dems damned him and talked secession.

Romney would not have made a lick of difference in the economy. He is in the same economic bed as all the rest of the career politicians.
The economy is built on bubbles and the politicians create the bubbles, knowingly.
The S&L bubble;the dotcom bubble, the housing bubble and now, the green bubble. All of these are poorly thought out plans to broaden the economy and they are all built on bad financial practices pushed into law for short term gain and reelection purposes.
The sad thing, is we keep buying into it.

If you want to know what Mitt Romney would be like as President, just take a look at Massachusetts.
So in 2012 you would be making another "Leftist or the RINO" decision.
The Democrats would be more than happy if this were the case as they could just continue with business as usual no matter which is elected.

Great analysis Jaimo, Most presidents are not perfect. As for BHO, he will be remembered, initially for his noobiness. Bush will be remembered for protecting the country under extraordinary cicumstances. The rest of BHO 's rememberances are yet to be judged.

Romney said back in December that GM needed to go bankrupt. So that statement alone tells you he thinks differently.
Looks like GM will go bankrupt even with its bailout.
Bankruptcy has a very important role in wealth redistribution. The books gets realigned with what is real. losers get to lose wealth.

That he made that call in Dec. doesn't make him unique, or his acumen particularly noteworthy. A number of folks, from posters on this board, to financial analysts were saying the same thing. Lots of us here railed against any bailouts and considered McLouse's support for them the final straw that eliminated any chance of getting a vote in November.

I wish Romney had won so he could outsource 95% of Government jobs, maybe even the Presidency to China like he did in all those companies he saved. That's his brilliant economic mind at work.
And well, the Chinese are willing to run the Presidency and government for less.
