Being new here, I thought it might be a good idea to introduce myself to you fine folks.
I'm a God fearing non practicing Christian, happily married Father of 3, blue collar guy from Michigan that just wants to be left alone to pursue ambitions that are my own without interference. I'm tired of the fruits of my labor increasingly taken away from me against my will, and wasted away in what the elite consider to be better uses of my earnings than I do. I'm more a classic liberal than a I am a modern conservative. "Classic liberal" in the sense that Jefferson considered himself to be.
I'm a firm believer in the Constitution of these United States as written and intended by our founding Fathers.
I enjoy anything that is outdoors. Winter, summer and everything in between. I just enjoy being outside. So much so that I'm considering how to get wireless to reach to my detached garage so I can surf online out there via laptop.
Anyway, I look forward to engaging in discussions with you all topics that will further the cause of conservatism, or what ever else may come up.

Oh, and I'm not big on those smiley icon things either. Trying to find one that fits my point ironically distracts me from my point. I sometimes have a short attention span, what of it?
