My name is Christopher Meyerson and I am a program manager for Support Military Heroes Foundation here in Carroll County Maryland.
We have a Benefit Raffle on June 6th 2009 at the Time Out Bar and Grill. The reason I am writing you is that Ruths Chris Steak House agreed to Support the Foundation in its benefit and donate 3 dinners for two. Well less then 1.5 months to go they have decided to back out we are a 501 c 3 and NO ONE is permitted to make money either in salary or foundation business. we are all Volunteers....
This leaves the Foundation holding the bag because we are financially responsible for the prizes that are on our permit.
I would ask that the members here contact Ruths Chris and let them know what you think of them leaving the foundation and taking money that would have gone to support the wounded heroes.
