View Full Version : ACORN - the 3rd political party in the USA

Hasn't ACORN, through the largesse of Obama's porkulus bills, become effectively our nation's third political party?
While they have been active in the Democrat party for years, they have, in effect, been positioning themselves to leave the Democrat party and with the billions that Obama has just given them, ACORN can effectively do that as soon as the next election by running political candidates to opppose the democrats and take the country even farther left into a communist gulag of a nation.
I think it is long overdue for conservatives to take note and do the same thing with the Republican party by forming a new national party based on the grassroots of the recent TEA Parties. Of course we won't get federal funding for it like ACORN and we'll have to fund it ourselves but surely we need better representation in Washington than what has essentially become the Democrat-light party, the GOP.

ACORN is not a political party, but rather the enforcement thugs of the liberal democrats.
ACORN is the group that puts a horse head in your bed when you refuse a “reasonable offer.”

No it isn't, but it would be nice if ACORN was a third party. If ACORN was a party, it would split the democrat vote and ensure a republican victory.

If Bush weren't a Fascist himself dedicated to the destruction of America, he would have had ACORN prosecuted under RICO and have passed a law compelling voters to present photo ID for any federal election.

My guess is that it entered the demonology early last October, when the right realized that Obama could not be stopped, and began to cast about for somone or something to blame.

This is your case for "massive voter fraud?"
Again, it's all just talk radio speculating and scapegoating.
Where are the indictments and prosecutions that certainly would have followed "massive voter fraud?"
Where are the news stories about this terrible corruption of the November election?
Where are the links between ACORN and voter fraud--and I don't mean youtube and "pajamas media?"

The registration still has to go through the Supervisory of Elections for verification and guess what, some states actually take this process seriously so ACORN can sign up anyone they choose, however, it's the deceased people, where social security has not been notified are the ones that bother me.

ge, I know I'm stretching the "active imagination" thing WAY more than ANY reasonable person should, but... could it be the reason we are not seeing active investigations into voter fraud, is because the winner was the beneficiary of the fraud and he controls the strings of power?

Most of these registration don't come from ACORN, they come from actual people. It's not like ACORN has a bunch of people sittin' at a desk marking up fake registrations. They have to submit all the registrations that they receive from the public, fake and real.

But in recent weeks, officials in at least 15 states have raised concerns about Acorn’s work. In Florida it was reported that “Mickey Mouse” had tried to register to vote through Acorn while in Ohio — another swing state — a teenager registered 73 times when offered cash and cigarettes by an Acorn canvasser.
But hey, none of those fraudulent registrations could NEVER possibly turn into fraudulent votes, so what's the big deal?

Um, voter registration outfits are legally required in almost every state to turn in all completed voter registration forms, whether they are blatantly fraudulent or not.
