HAVANA — Fidel Castro said Tuesday that President Barack Obama "misinterpreted" his brother Raul's sentiments toward the United States and bristled at any suggestion Cuba should free political prisoners or reduce official fees on money sent to the island from the U.S.

Raul Castro touched off a whirlwind of speculation that the U.S. and Cuba could be headed toward a thaw in nearly a half-century of chilly relations last week, when he said Cuban leaders would be willing to sit down with their U.S. counterparts and discuss "everything," including human rights, freedom of the press and expression, and political prisoners on the island.

Obama responded at the Summit of the Americas by saying Washington seeks a new beginning with Cuba, but he also said Sunday that Cuba should release some political prisoners and reduce official taxes on remittances from the U.S. as a sign of good will.

That appeared to enrage Fidel Castro, 82, who wrote in an essay posted on a government Web site that Obama "without a doubt misinterpreted Raul's declarations."

Castro blasted the new U.S. president for showing signs of "superficiality.
Did I hear Fidel say something about a nitwit? I am not sure. Wonder how President Obama will apologize his way out of this.

Let's see Fidel thinks Oby is stupid and maybe even a nitwit and possibly even a half-wit.

Chavez, another of Oby's favorite communist dictators thinks Oby is an "ignoramus" and even tried to bone Oby up on his reading by giving him a book about how Americans have pilaged this hemisphere for the last 500 years and, of course, Oby said he'd already boned up on it when he was being preached to by Jeremiah Wright.

And then he sucked up to the dictator of Iran who just condemned all Jews to a new holocaust as soon as he can put a couple of nukes on Iran's latest missiles that can reach Tel Aviv.

And, of course, look at how successful Oby has been in getting North Korea to stop making rocket shots that could hit Sarah Palin's house in Alaska. Another stroke of foreign policy brilliance on Oby's part.

And of course, I think the French president refered to him as a poodle or something like that.

What is so sad is that so many believe in him as some kind of savior. Savior of what? His policies are destroying everything left and right and are incredibly dangerous for all civilized nations, not just America.

I never thought I'd agree with Fidel Castro but Oby is stupid and a nitwit and Chavez is right about him being an ignoramus and Stalin was obviously refering to Oby when he was talking about a "useful idiot".
