There is a large part of Hollywood that used to strive to "entertain" the masses. Yet nowadays we have them trying to "SHAPE" society with their point of view. Now I don't mind other opinions, as that is a right to all, however let's remember that most of Hollywood are so out of touch with the working man's world that they are bound to get it wrong! I'm a tax-payer housewife. I am white and middle-aged. I was so angry when my President urged the Stimulus to pass knowing that NOBODY read it! Nobody COULD read it in the time allotted. THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO TO STOP IT! I did not get to vote to stop this stimulus bill. SO I go to protest my opinion and the next thing I know I'm indirectly being called a racist with a brain abnormality???!

It's hard for me to think of people as haters but now I think it's safe to say that we normal average Americans are being hated on more each day by extremists who don't want other people to have an opinion that differs from their own!

People who went to college being taught history REVISED by professors who have a hidden political agenda result in the kind of thinking Ms. Gerbil-rofalo portrays. To me that is much more dangerous than me fighting for my rights. I'm not a racist. I just don't like Obama's track record so far and I'll be darned if I'm going to have my freedoms taken w/o voicing my opinions!

There is a large part of Hollywood that used to strive to "entertain" the masses. Yet nowadays we have them trying to "SHAPE" society with their point of view. Now I don't mind other opinions, as that is a right to all, however let's remember that most of Hollywood are so out of touch with the working man's world that they are bound to get it wrong! I was just over at the Washington Times site and you wouldn't believe the support Janeane Gerlaffalo has gotten from her interview on the Keith Olberman show. It is really very scary and I wonder what age group most of those posters are. I suspect they are young college new-agers who enjoy the chaotic. I wish more of us would voice our opinions on the Leftists sites too so that maybe we can open their eyes that there are more people out there with common sense. I dunno just a thought. Speaking of screaming and acting like fools, I remember the Minnesota politician (can't remember his name) at whose funeral service the audience acted like a pack of animals. Some Democratic Party functionary (Howard Dean, maybe?) used the pulpit to turn the memorial service into a downtown street rally. Republican attendees were booed and insulted, causing Jesse Ventura, John Kerry and others to offer apologies to those who were so treated. That incident, to me, showed in one perfect episode what the current Democratic Party is; mean-spirited, disrepectful, low class, and above nothing.
