No.

Only after a free and fair election, if he prevails.
Personally, I'd prefer to see David Dewhurst be the first President of the Republic of Texas since our annexation.

Are there any Blue state secession threads that you can go to in daily kook?
How long did it take them to disappear after 2004?

I nominate Clayton Williams.
If it weren't for one campfire joke, Ann Richards would never have been elected and Dubya would not have eventually replaced her as Governor... There's a hell of a 'what if' for ya to ponder.

On Beck's show, Chuck Norris already said he might run for president of Texas.
The second confederacy run by a man who hocks exercise equipment on television. sigh. Maybe Christie Brinkley can be his running mate on the ticket.

Says who?
I wouldn't vote for him. I don't even care for Perry that much.

No, it'll be Chuck Norris.
Heck, they won't have to worry about any invaders with him as President. They also wont need a secret service.

I think Rich Perry would be at the top of the list since his the current Governor of Texas.

Clayton Williams is okay, but I just don't think he's savvy enough for what we need right now.
Dewhurst is a former Air Force officer, CIA agent, energy company CEO and rides horses professionally.

If you can see Chuck Norris he can see you. If you can't see Chuck Norris you may only be seconds away from death.

Really, I can't stand to watch him or listen to him speak. He makes me want to slap him in the back of the head to help him get the words out. Was selecting him as Press Secretary some kind of joke that went bad?

I think I'll make a thread for my "was there a lot of praise for the fiscal responsibility of the Clinton Administration?" comment, next.

What a load of BS. Clinton has fiscal responsibility forced onto him by Gingrich and Lott. Or have you forgotten the government shutdowns because of the congress refusing to spend money we didn't have?
