Love the show - not sure I could do it myself, to be honest, but would be a heck of an experience!

My favorite is Sig Hansen and the Northwestern. He seems unflappable yet has a sense of humor.

I am Sig/Edgar fan, too, but all of them are awesome.
I could not do what they do. I love being on the ocean, but the Bering Sea, not so much. :)

Did you all see that Captain Sig has a line of fish products out? I saw them at Wal*Mart. Fish sticks, fish and cheese nuggets, popcorn fish, ect.

I like Sig, but I like his brother more. There are a couple of the older ones that I liked, from a couple of season's ago. There was a little punk that was trying to be a Captain that I didn't care for at all, he had no honor.

My dad was in the Coast Guard and was stationed up there for a while. He had a great deal of respect for these men.

I like all of them but yup, Edgar is the best. He's still a big kid, playing practical jokes all the time (or at least trying). Caught the show last night and thank goodness Keith is alright but poor Phil. He may be back if they can get rid of all the blood clots.

I have been waiting for last night's episode. I love it. I thought it was funny that Sig had to bite the head off the Herring! I about threw up but it was worth it!

It do. I would have enjoyed that line of work though me thinks, I am just enough of a bonehead to think something like that is fun.

It is very cold and and can be quite dangerous on a crabbing boat. If you catch a lot of crabs, you can make very good money in a short period of time.

Favorite has to be the Northwestern and Sig...but Time Bandit and Jonathan are a close second.

I'm still hoping that Phil can get his health problems resolved and get back out there where he clearly wants to be.
