I'm not quit sure what it is that people are trying to accomplish with the Tea Party Rallies across the nation. I understand the concept of what they are trying to say, but is it the best way to get the point across? In 1773 the brave souls in Boston decided to stand up for what was right and decided to toss the tea overboard. Of course in this day in age that won’t work, we live in a different era. So why not do the next best thing. I propose that we stop paying the taxes. There are roughly 76.8 million registered Republicans and 39.4 million registered Independents paying taxes in some way, shape or form. If every one of these individuals where to claim exempt, on their tax form at work, for the next month how much of an impact would that have on the government. Better yet stop paying those taxes for the next six months and see how fast they change their tune. I’m tired of my money going to THINGS that do not benefit me, my family, my friends, and better yet my COUNTRY. What is protesting going to do for us, nothing. It’s time to send a very clear message to the people in Washington, stop taking my money
