I can be such a jerk sometimes…
like this morning in the wee hours…
when I tried to pick a fight with Free in the Cabin thread.
I had meant for the whole thing to be a playful treat for Blaze,
but it was neither well thought-out nor properly executed.
Despite how it may have appeared,
I wasn’t really serious about wanting to fight Free
but only wanted to start a ruckus between him and me
so that when Blaze came in,
she’d find that two of her guys had been fighting over her…
(with shirts torn off, battered and bruised…)
which I thought she would appreciate and enjoy.
When I woke up this morning,
the first thought I had was
“My God, what have I done?!”
As I lay there recalling what I had posted,
I realized that I had almost certainly alienated Free,
who, as far as I know, has done nothing to deserve what I sent his way,
and I probably caused great embarrassment to Blaze.
I’ve been feeling sheepish all day about my behavior
and composed this OP even before I’d gone online to survey the damage I had caused in Hansterland
or log on to see what PM’s I might have gotten as a result of my stupid missteps.
To Free:
I realize that my attempts at setting up a smack-down between you and me for Blaze’s enjoyment
were, at best, clumsy and embarrassing…
and, at worst, mean-spirited and totally inappropriate…
and I offer you my heart-felt apologies
and humbly ask for your forgiveness,
and hope that I haven’t permanently damaged our friendship.
To Blaze:
I likewise offer you my heart-felt apologies
and humbly ask for your forgiveness
for any embarrassment I may have caused you,
and hope that I haven’t permanently damaged our friendship.
