Pretty much. But I've not been able to stop laughing at them since they demanded that the Governor of WI change the state drink from Milk to Soy Milk. Lunatics, one and all with a side of anti-humanism.
But then again... I support the other PETA: People for the Eating of Tasty Animals.

I drink soy milk with a LOT of Hershey's chocolate syrup. We're talking about half and half- but that's the only way I can drink it!

I dislike PETA as much as anyone, but soy milk is GOOD.
I use it in my post-workout smoothies, it tastes like ice cream.

Have you ever heard Lewis Black's bit about milk?
It's hilarious.

Now, I don't know if it's true still, but it was true about 5 years ago or so.
PETA's 2nd in command (at the time) was an insulin dependant diabetic. Someone who wouldn't be alive today if it weren't for animal testing.

Calling someone a hypocrite for doing what you normally find normal is hypocritical.
Unless someone here really is disappointed in PETA for killing all those thousands of adorable loving puppies and kitties?

Those bleeding heart animal loving PETA people just get me.
What was it, 45 something BILLION spent here on pet stuff this year alone?

Do not forget to curse PETA as you pick out that new teddy bear for Spot (I mean snookems).

How can you take PETA seriously when they proclaim that Thanksgiving is "turkey murder"? I have no doubt that PETA is a front for more radical groups like the Animal Liberation Front.
And it would be sweet justice if a PETA member would have a doctor say to them, "Well, we had some encouraging research that was leading to a cure for your condition, but a group of animal rights idiots destroyed our lab. Sorry to say, you have six months to live."

Techgod... are you trying to play equivalency to the lunatics at PeTA for those of us who treat our pets at members of the family?
Most... MOST people who do that are not so in touch with their "Inner Disney" (Patron Saint of talking anthropomorphized animals) that they do the math that is oft the mantra of the PeTA moonbats:
"A rat, is a cat, is a dog, is a boy."
Pets is pets, regardless of how much family they are. So, if you aren't trying to push equivalency between pet lovers who buy toys and treats with hypocritical anti-humanists, I apologize. Otherwise, wow... ya need to re-examine reality for a while before going to another meeting.

By peta's own "ideas":
Stray animals will die anyways, so we should just kill them all. ( They say - if you find a stray cat, you shouldn't feed it. You should bring it to them to be killed. )
Wild animals will just die anyways, so we should just kill them all.
What makes one animal better than the next? That freakshow leading peta? They're the biggest hypocrites in the world. I didn't even need to see that article to know that. I've known this for years.

Well I'm sure they kill them in a very respectable manner. They just don't stick them with needles or ring their necks for Pete's sake!!!
Perhaps they bury them alive so they die naturally from lack of oxygen.

What exactly do they do with that 32 million dollar budget? Our local animal shelter operates on donations and volunteers and places hundreds of pets a year.

Most of PETA's core members oppose animals being kept as pets.
"Pet Ownership is an absolutely abysmal situation brought about by human manipulation." -Ingrid Newkirk
At their core, what PETA really is, is a pack of misanthropic loons!

So it's better for an animal to be dead than happy and healthy with a loving family? Damn, I"m confused!

And where is the outrage.
They went ballistic over Michael Vick but PETA does worse and there is silence.
What utter hypocrisy!

Samurai? What do you mean where's the outrage? Why the surprise? Liberals cover for liberal nutjobs on the "road to hell is paved with good intentions" plan.

Here is a video about how the police found out about what PETA was doing, and the spin PETA tried to employ. Truly disgusting.
