I was listening to comments from a Congressman from Oregon this morning on the radio about the move toward Socialized Medicine in America.

That got me to thinking...Can we learn anything about the future of gov't health care from General Motors. I think we can.

Since we entered the "Bailout" phase of our history...

The bureaucracy has given itself the right to...

Fire a corporate CEO...
Demond the names of private citizens lawfully paid bonuses earned via contractual obligations in Congressional hearings...
Barney Frank and Company have pushed through some act now regulating the pay, not just of the Big wigs but of everyone working at companies receiving bail out funds...
The Treasury Secretary, a guy who can't even run Turbo Tax, now wants the right to determine in advance when the gov't needs to step in prior to a big company getting in trouble...

So...We see that the bureaucrats are using their investment of our money as a reason to increase their own power and influence over our lives. Do we really want these people making our health care decisions for us. When you are 80 and in frail health do you want somebody looking at your computerized medical records deciding that it would be an unwise investment of taxpayer money to treat your arthritis and heart condition.

I pray Americans will open their eyes to the horrible direction in which we are heading.
