Right now, to combat the extreme threat posed by the Obama administration, the NRA is offering one-year memberships for free.

http://gunowners.org/ Oh good lord! I'm a member of the NRA and GOA......what annoys me are the 'much cooler than you' folks who think it's the in thing to bash the NRA.
Everyone can't be the 'cooler than you' rebel without a clue. ;)
For everyone else, do the intelligent thing and join the NRA AND THE GOA! Why fight each other?

+1. Support them all. There's a common goal here that supercedes bickering over whose Daddy is toughest.

Much cooler has nothing to do with it.

Go big or go home. Great idea.......lets all snipe and fight each other, as the 2nd Amendment circles the drain.....PURE GENIUS! It may be self-destructive, but at least you have your (most imaginary) principles. ;)

+1. Support them all. There's a common goal here that supercedes bickering over whose Daddy is toughest. And that is EXACTLY what is going on here.

I'll throw in if you promise to have a funding drive to buy LaPierre a par of 'nads.

Some folks seem to think that you lack a pair of 'nads if you don't support the right of recently released felons to immediately buy a gun.
The bottom line is that the NRA has been on the forefront of defending the 2nd Amendment against attacks for decades (well over a century actually).......the GOA (which I also support) comes along, and it becomes the 'cool club' for those who 'REALLY' support the 2nd Amendment.
It reminds of the argument between the 'Judean People's Front' and 'the People's Front of Judea' on Monty Python's 'Life of Brian'.
So why don't you tell me what the NRA has done that has not been to your liking.
