CBS confirmed in last week's tapings on The Price Is Right, Jim Nantz made an appearance on the game show to "model" a Showcase prize.

The prize he gets to model?

A Final Four Package with airfare, hotel, and tickets to the games!

Drew, where are you getting these ideas for sports fan packages? It seems to challenge ABC's very feminine and liberal The View, the libertarian is shooting back with not just very feminine prizes of Prada, Ralph Lauren, and other top-notch "Sex in the City' type couture clothing, but he's giving men an equal opportunity of prizes geared for them . . . NASCAR tickets and pit passes, Dodgers skybox, Field Level MLB seats, Doing pre-game batting practice, Rinkside at an NHL game, World Hockey Championships tickets, Grand Slam (tennis) tickets, and Final Four tickets. With CBS having the Super Bowl this upcoming season, is the network angling for a Super Bowl package for the game?

Can you imagine SUPER BOWL tickets as game show prizes? The Daytona 500, Allstate 400, and Final Four tickets have become TPIR prizes.

Give me two for the PIR race in the fall, and they can KEEP the Super Bowl!

I don't know if Drew would allow Phoenix as a ticket package; he's wanted Daytona and Indy. He wants fans to experience the BIG NASCAR races; can you imagine BRISTOL tickets for the night race as a prize pack?

Drew's put-down of the Obama Administration continues; prize packages for trips in some cases now includes (gasp!) private jet service. Didn't Obama attack so many executives for private jet service?

Bobby
Drew is just the host of the show
He doesnt have a say in what prizes are awarded

Stuball,

At CES this year, Drew admitted he has some influence on some of the prizes. Historically, the host has influence on prizes, such as bans on foreign cars, leather goods, prohibition of meat products. Those bans no longer exist.

CBS sent out information on Thursday's Price. From what they showed, Jim Nantz did his segment in Storrs, with a gaggle of UConn fans. The video was played on the show's plasma screens and not just the Final Four tickets are there, but there indeed is the show's most famous prize of all.
