Op-Ed by Retired Bubblehead "Emulate Harding not Hoover" perfect.

A good pick. I will be gracious about it:((:((:((
But seriously, the Harding / Hoover comparison is a good example of what gubmit intervention does to an economy.

I am not the only one who gets to make a nomination (although it does seem I am the most frequent) Robert offer your own nomination or was that yours in agreement with mine?

"Selfish cities and universities" is another good one that makes a point that needs to be made. A number of good ones, I am glad that I don't have to make the choice. I can't offer much help in choosing among all the good entries. Droog's entry was great, so was TomCooper's.
I know, have 'em all draw straws.
My entry ("How us Republicans wrecked the world") got a lot of reads, but was probably not the best of the bunch, as far as content and research goes. Everybody else put time and research in their OP-ED's, I shot from the hip.
I am thankful that "The only good politics is grass roots politics" was chosen last week. It is good to have a place where ideas receive real consideration

I guess that I would have to give Droog's when "When Government destroys our currency" a slight edge, I think that it addresses an issue that many do not take seriously enough, our financial vulnerability in regard to foreign nations is very scary.
"Obamalama ding dong" is another good one, because it reveals how unqualified Obama really is, but I would still give the edge to "When government destroys our currency".

I would say that Droog's study of destroying the currency is a better entry than mine, to be completely honest.
