I have a friend who is from Iran. Her family is Muslim. She told me about a story of when she was a child. Her and the children in her community were taught to be afraid of Jewish people. When shopping with her mother she was told to stay by mom or the Jews would get her. One day she indeed got separated from her mom. A Jewish man at a fruit stand approached her and told her that he knew she was scared of him but that she could sit in a chair in front so that her mom would find her. He then gave her a pomegranate and told her that because it is red inside her mom would be able to find her faster. I asked if that changed her opinion about Jewish people. She said "well things are different there".

It did see it. He's distorting what you are saying and is using the distortion to try to reframe your point in an attempt to make you look like your are being hyterical.

The fact is, and you get this, that some significant portion of Muslims believe that Jews are monkies and pigs. I have seen Saudi text books that teach this. They provide the Qur'anic suras and ahadith that support this. The Qur'an says that some Jews did not follow the word of God so He turned them into monkeys, pigs and lizards. It does not say that all Jews are monkeys and pigs. But this does not stop the Wahabi clerics from including this hateful teaching in their pirmary school text books, nor does it stop the Palestinians from teaching it to their children.

Now not all Muslims believe that all Jews are monkeys and pigs...... but it's prevelant enough a point of view that I'd have dozens of Muslims tell me that it's a fact.

I wonder if God also turns Muslims who do not listen to Him into monkeys and pigs.. most likely He does.
