The good Right Rev-a-rund Jeremiah Wright says that 9-11 was the result of the chickens coming home to roost. If you follow the logic of the Rev-a-rund, his followers, liberals, and Democrats in general, they basically agree that American Republican elected officials are the only people in the world who have ever provoked Islamic extremists.
Incurring the wrath of Islamic extremism is not the only problem that Republicans are supposed to have produced.
According to prominent Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Patty Murray, all of the current economic problems were caused by republican policies.
How did republicans cause all of the problems that are presented by Islamic extremists abroad and economic recession on the domestic front ?
Maybe they didn't really teach us every thing we need to know about history in school.
How did Islamic extremism get started? Some republican, way back in the day, must have done something to deprive Muslim extremists of their inalienable right to take over the world.
The armies of Mohammed spent about a hundred years conquering much of southwest Asia, North Africa, and Spain before a narrow minded (and therefore republican) individual named Charles Martel took exception to Islamic advancement into his part of Europe (now France). He knew that he was up against tough opposition, so he called the Republican president of the United States to send the 5th Marine Division over to help him win the Battle of Tours in 732 AD. Republicans assisted in stirring up a hornet's nest that has never gone away.
A Republican president sent the U.S. Army Special Forces as advisors to the Christian Crusaders when they assaulted Jerusalem in 1099.
A Republican president sent the 82nd Airborne Division to help stop the expansion of the Ottoman Empire at the Battle of Vienna in 1683. The Airborne Rangers used catapults in those days.
American Republicans are and always have been the only people in the world who can cause Muslims to become angry.
So much for republican provocation of the Islamic world.
Republicans were always the root cause of economic problems, so it must have been Republicans who set up all of the Government chartered but supposedly privately owned institutions that create so many strange bedfellows. The Federal Reserve was established in 1913, when Woodrow Wilson was president. Wilson had a 'D' next to his name, but maybe he was really a Republican plant. Same when Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac was established during the FDR administration. Republicans are also the only ones who have ever pressured the mortgage industry to loan to bad risks. Chris Dodd and Bawney Fwank must be Republicans in disguise.
Yep, Republicans are the only reason why America (or anyone else) has Islamic enemies; and Republicans have created every economic problem in existence. Just read your history.
