I sent this email to Sean thought I would pass this on to you all.
Mr. Hannity,
I was listening the other day when you had Mr. Levin on your radio show. You were discussing that the US uses 25% of the world's oil production but we only have 5% of the world population.
I thought I would offer some correction and evaluation of the information.
The US comprises 4.5% of the world's population, we consume 24% of the world's oil, however the important fact that is missing here is the US produces 26% of the world's GDP. We still out produce China, we still out produce the EU (27 countries). While using less oil than they do. With a vastly smaller population than either one. As a result we are far more effiecent in our production all the while we are far better stuarts of the environment than they are.
I just wish people had a clue that the US is still a massive industrial powerhouse.
BTW, I am 42 years oil currently I am the Sales Manager for an international chemical company. I cover both North and South America for my company. I have a BS in Chemisty from Illinois Institute of Tech. I was in the USN for six years (85-91) Desert Storm Vet. I have worked in the lab, marketing and sales in the industrial metalworking lubricants and related markets since I was out of the Navy.
Thank you for what you are doing. I just thought I would pass on a little information.
Sincerely,
Ron XXXX
