For my conservative friends in MI
Since this is a state issue, I thought I should post it over here instead of "Washington Politics"
George Cushingberry, Wayne County Representative, introduced HB 4603.
He wants to raise the gasoline tax from 19 cents per gallon to 69 cents per gallon.
No where in the bill can I find what he wants the extra 50 cents for. All I see is that it is for the "privilege" of driving on Michigan's roads.
Find your representative here and tell/ask them to vote no. http://house.michigan.gov/find_a_rep.asp
