To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Brad Proch and I am a Registered Nurse and Medical Case Manager (RN/BSN) currently working for Travelers Insurance. I am writing in regard to the medical supplies representative, Ohio/Pittsburgh territory, position posted on the Sean Hannity web site. I understand what will be required of me for this position and feel my experience in building trusting patient/physician relationships and working with medical DME sales will assist my transition into medical sales with your company.
As my enclosed resume indicates, my clinical and work experiences have focused on increasing my knowledge and skills in Nursing and Business, especially in the Intensive Care Unit. During my career with United and Cleveland Clinic Hospitals, I was able to combine my critical thinking skills with my passion for Nursing, and it proved to be a perfect fit for my career goals. Working with Central Lines, Medical Sales Representatives, and all other ICU equipment has provided a strong base to the many opportunities of the ICU and medical sales setting. My current employment with Travelers has allowed me to strengthen the business management skills I have learned in the classroom. I have found my greatest success come from building and maintaining trusting relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals in combination with my leadership team.
Currently, I am enrolled in a duel masters program for my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Masters in the Science of Nursing (MSN). Maintaining a 3.85 GPA while taking courses in leadership/ business etiquette, strategic planning, accounting, marketing and advanced nursing care have provided a strong foundation for this position. Completion of both degrees is scheduled for December of 2009. My rational for entering into the MBA portion of the program is that I may one day enter into the medical sales field. I feel my medical knowledge, gentle persuasion techniques and determination for meeting personal and professional goals will allow me to excel in this position.
I strongly believe that world-class care extends past each sale and helps to build customer loyalty. My desire to work in medical sales to build such relationships is an accomplishment I hope to obtain while working with your company. I hope you can see by my dedication to advancing my education that I am committed to working hard for a career in medical sales. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have in regard to my performance and resume. I look forward to the opportunity of becoming a member of your team.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Brad J. Proch RN
