I just got home from the book signing and wanted to let everyone know that Mark honored his promise to sign everyone's book however long it took. The store ran out of books while there were still people wrapped around 3 blocks. I was lucky enough to get one of the last ones. Apparently Mark decided that all of the people left in the line could come into the store and he would go up to everyone and sign anything that they might have.
Sean and Curtis were there the whole time, coming to chat with the waiting crowd on several occasions. It was great to see the support that Mark got from his friends as well as his fans.
It was worth the 7 hour wait to meet Mark. This was the first time I ever even considered waiting on line in the cold for a book signing.
Overall- it was great to hear the fans say that even if the books ran out they wanted to stay to make sure that Mark knew about their support.
Thanks to Mark, Sean and Curtis for being ther efor the fans and everyone who showed up for making the waiting bearable and even, at times fun!

I was there and after 5 hours and the store guy coming out saying it'd be a few more hours I left. I was with Moms and she was freezing and needed the bathroom. We did get to stand 10 feet from Sean and that alone was great. We got autographs from Curtis and made some small talk and that was really cool. I'm disappointed I missed meeting them in person but I will call up during the week and speak to them if I can get through.

I felt bad for all of the people that had your experience. That was bad planning on the part of the store. Actually- I wasn't thrilled with how the store dealt with things- I got there at 4-and after being on line for 2 hours, these bookstore employees kept coming out and telling us that there were less than 200 books left and that we could wait if we wanted to but he couldn't promise that we would even get in. Once they realized that there were people wrapped around 3 blocks they should have limited people to one book (people were coming out with 5). All of the people in my area of the line decided we wanted to stay to support Mark but we were not thrilled with how it was handled (by the store).
I spoke with the owner who told me that they didn't anticipate that many people and had no way to get more books to the store. I'll be curious to hear what Mark says about it on Monday- I am sure he felt bad about the fact that the store didn't order enough books.

Of course it was the day from hell traffic wise. Coming from NJ it was only 58 miles for me, BUT 3 hours later I finally made. From accidents shutting down the GWB, to accident in Lincoln Tunnel shutting part of that down, all the way to the Holland...cutting through midtown tunnel, and LIE traffic, and $28 IN TOLLS LATER...I MADE IT!!! Thankfully I left @ noon, and arrived by 3:15PM. Got my book no problem, and headed to the part of the store where he would be speaking. Had the letter "D" when it came to the book signing. FINALLY, around 7PM I was there, at the table, meeting him, Sean, etc..and got my book signed. It was worth the drive, the traffic, etc.. To be surrounded by THOUSANDS of people that think like you..AND BE IN NY, was just amazing!!! He had to be over the top excited with the turn out he had. With the crowd that size, there was NOT ONE incident. It was calm, fun, easy, etc.. I am sooooo glad I did it. Big thanks out to him, and everyone that put this together. Best thing I did in a long time!!!!:clap::clap:

I was fortunate to to get a book, and there were tons there when I got there. However, I must agree with you. they should have never allowed people multiple books, NOR should they have allowed people to bring a bunch of books to sign. Not for anything, but the woman in front of me had Hannity books, 3 Liberty vs Tyranny books, Men in Black book, and Saving Sprite book. She wanted them all signed...as the line was getting longer and longer. Not the stores fault of course..but just rude and inconsiderate of the woman that had all of that. However, Mark was very accomidating, calm, and just must have been overwhelmed by the support that came out for him. It was the biggest event @ this place ever I'm told.
