Position Summary
Green Acres Outdoor Living is a business that engages in the selling of Lawn Furniture, Sheds, Gazebos, and Gym sets. As it is our goal to be the best at what we do. We strive in every way to maintain the highest standards of excellence and professionalism. We are seeking talented construction employee for our shed manufacturing. Siding and roofing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Cut Siding
- Install Siding, J-channel, Trims, and Starter Base
- Install 3-tab and Architectural Shingles
- Eventually train for other shop skills.
Necessary Skills and Attributes
1. Character first
a. Honesty
i. Will speak the truth and nothing but the truth.
ii. Trustworthy
b. Hard working and Dependable
i. Will not call in tardy when scheduled for work.
ii. Can be counted on to get the job done right!
c. Relates well to authorities and other employees
i. Will do what (s)hes told to without many words good attitude
ii. Gets along well with other employees cooperative team player
2. Self- Motivated and Self-Reliant
a. Ability to motivate yourself keep yourself on schedule and pace yourself.
b. Enjoys working by yourself
c. Problem solving skills can utilize knowledge to solve small problems
3. Detail Oriented
a. Notices the small things that are out of order.
b. Likes things orderly
c. Has a neat and clean appearance
4. Relates Well to people
a. Good communication skills
b. A friendly and likeable disposition
c. Does not get angry quickly
6. Flexible Schedule
7. Willing to learn
a. Will be willing to learn other areas of work become multi-talented
