No, I didn't vote FOR McCain -- I voted AGAINST Obama -- and would have fought Clinton tooth and nail as well. Shouldn't have stabbed Lieberman in the back: then I'd have voted against McCain.

Only POTUS I've ever voted for was Reagan. All the rest, including Clinton twice, were votes AGAINST the opponent.

Look folks..we are way way way past Dem verses Republican's. Both parties need a good swift reminder on who actually got them into office. The anger level in America towards her government officials is off the charts..and growing with each passing day. The operating government at this time has nothing better to throw out then a "Don't worry..Be Happy " slogan to help quell the fears of the mass populace. :rolleyes: I don't think it's working.

Clinton and Bush...both mere men...both two term presidents of our nation. Their days are long gone..their antics legendary...there style of leadership a gross whisper in the White House. At least both of our past two presidents had the decorum and sense to 'act' like presidents..and not some wanna be cool college professor hanging out with his class.

What are we doing now should be the focus. What we as the American people NEED to do should be the goal. I foresee a great change in the years to come....Congress is toast with members like Frank and Pelosi and Reid. The same toast will be made of those Repubs who mindlessly followed after the ruling party.

I'd rather have a bunch of no name new people come in and actually follow the law for the betterment of our country then we are currently stuck with. It's not Palin personally -- it's what Palin represents: a wave of disgust and fury over the criminalization of BOTH political parties.

If and when that disgust and anger finds a Voice -- a leader that can gel it into the full power of it's potential -- a whole lot of corrupt men and women who've gotten rich and are wallowing in sybaritic luxuries gotten through nasty, dirty, treacherous "deals" made in secret ARE GOING DOWN.

Any potential Voice for that disgust with the moral degeneracy and corruption of our entire political leadership WILL be destroyed as fast as the CRIMINALS can do so -- destroyed by attacking the trust and respect that is critical for the Voice to make the outrage gel into DETERMINED RESISTANCE to further brutalization of our society.

Thing is, whoever that Voice will be -- and there are multiple potentials, including Palin, on the horizon -- all these attacks will only strengthen the resolve and determination, helping to gel the Resistance and REFORM THE SEWAGE DUMP of the entire political scene -- and one of those potential building Voices WILL survive the assaults -- and the assaults themselves will cause a person with the strength of character required to rise above them WILL gel a much stronger and much more driven Reform Movement.

Think of it as a Cromwell type of phenomenon -- the Stewart attempts to violently suppress the Reform Movement their own corruption had caused led Charles I straight to the execution block in a wave of excessive counter-force -- which set up the Commonwealth, where Cromwell, the Voice who gelled that Reform Movement, himself committed atrocities for the sake of Reform, ending the Commonwealth after his death because there was no one to follow him in leadership. The Restoration of Charles II saw even more disgusting immorality from the Left of that era -- and the threat of full return to the moral and destructive culture of the Royalists led to the so-called Glorious Reformation -- a peaceful removal of the licentious and socially incompetent and destructive leadership for a compromise not as radically Right but nowhere near as fanatically Left, either. Not that William and Mary were exactly humanist and tolerant of the Leftwits, mind you -- and there WERE continuing abuses and brutalities -- but the humanist potential was protected and continued to grow toward the Declaration of Independence and that so precious and remarkable Bill of Rights, which is the heart and core of socio-cultural humanism itself, neither Right nor Left, but maximum individualism and maximum multi-culturalism, a WALL against abusive absolutism by any fanatic group, Right or Left alike.

We'll see if Palin has that strength of character or not that will cause the Reform Movement to gel behind her leadership.

This much I do know: when the Left destroys, weakens, undermines the Bill of Rights -- which they have consistently done since the Hippie Era -- they DESTROY THEIR OWN PROTECTION from the equal and opposite backlash that they themselves are causing.

Because there is one hell of a backlash growing -- and the more the Left tries to suppress and destroy that backlash, the more viciously they attack people like Rush and Sean -- Palin, Jindahl -- leaders on the Right, the more powerful and explosive the backlash grows.

When government is perceived to be the chief threat to citizen safety and prosperity, that government IS DOOMED. And when a social clique is perceived as corrupt and destructive, that socio-political clique is going to face a very powerful and violent suppression in an equal and opposite socio-cultural move in the exact opposite direction.

The Democrats and all the fanatic minority groups that they have preyed on to give themselves formal power are in deep trouble, and the shark-filled water is rising to near flood proportions.

Through disgustingly immoral and outright criminal treachery, they have acquired only the appearance of power, NOT REAL INFLUENCE THROUGH EARNED RESPECT AND TRUST -- merely the power to write words on paper, the power to order brutal cruel force of arms, using murder and torture and injustice to PUNISH their enemies -- words that further enfuriate and disgust the citizenry, destroying their respect and trust, further weakening their ACTUAL control -- because the more they abuse the power to write laws and twist justice to serve their lust for power, the more hated they -- AND THEIR SUPPORTERS -- become.

There's only one way to stop the backlash -- to OPEN the doors of government power to the Reformers -- do things like appoint Palin to a real and powerful investigative Grand Jury with the power to nail even POTUS and SCOTUS for criminal activities and rulings that have -- which neither Pelosi nor Obama nor Hillary -- NONE of the political leadership of either party -- have the wisdom to do. Quite the opposite -- they're doing everything in their power to TURN UP THE HEAT and SHUT DOWN THE STEAM VALVES so the fury and rage they're causing has no place to go except into full explosion.

The First Amendment is a PRIMARY STEAM ESCAPE VALVE -- free and open discussion of opposition is the ONLY way to stop the building rage -- and the STUPIDS on the Left are destroying that escape mechanism in order to try to FORCE control over hearts and minds by CONTROLLING information and thinking processes -- and that is only further enfuriating the extreme Right who will NEVER accept such mind-control as the TOTALLY STUPID IGNORANT ******* Stalin thought he could and tried to do.
