To my loving Family and Friends;
To the many folks I've become fond of here in the OO Forum and all those on Hannity Forums who chance their way here; some Blessings upon all of you as we Irish celebrate the Patron Saint of Ireland, Patrick. I hope and pray that this special day brings and bestows upon you ALL Blessings unbounded.
Light on the outside, Light on the inside.
With God's sunlight shining on you,
May your heart glow with warmth,
Like a turf fire that welcomes friends and strangers alike.
May the light of the Lord shine from your eyes,
May the blessing of light be upon you,
Like a candle in the window,
Welcoming the weary traveler.
May the blessing of God's soft rain be on you,
Falling gently on your head, refreshing your soul
With the sweetness of little flowers newly blooming.
May the strength of the winds of Heaven bless you,
Carrying the rain to wash your spirit clean
Sparkling after in the sunlight.
May the blessing of God's earth be on you,
And as you walk the roads,
May you always have a kind word for those you meet.
May you understand the strength and power of God.
In a thunderstorm in Winter, And the quiet beauty of creation,
In the calm of a Summer sunset, And may you come to realize,
that, insignificant as you may seem in this great Universe,
You are an important part of God's plan.
May he watch over you and keep you safe from harm.

The music, singing and narration by Roma Downey is quite beautiful. I hope some Angels are singing like this as they accompany me on my final journey. A few Angels to beat the Banshees back for a wee bit longer would be nice as well!
The Blessings below are from the following web page:

These things I warmly wish for you -
Someone to love, some work to do,
A bit o' sun, a bit o' cheer,
And a guardian angel always near.
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
May the rains sweep
gentle across your fields,
May the sun warm the land,
May every good seed you
have planted bear fruit,
And late summer find you
standing in fields of plenty.
Give us, Lord, a bit o sun,
A bit o work and a bit o fun,
Give us in all the struggle and sputter,
Our daily bread and a bit o butter.
Give us health our keep to make
And a bit to spare for other's sake.
Give us, too, a bit of song
And a tale and a book to help us along.
Give us, Lord, a chance to be
Our goodly best, brave, wise and free,
Our goodly best for ourselves and others
Till all men learn to live as brothers.
An Old Irish Prayer
Grant me a sense of humor, Lord, the saving grace to see a joke. To win some happiness from life, and pass it on to other folk.
May you live to be a hundred years! With an extra year to repent?
May the good Lord take a liking to you, but not too soon!
I hope this post may bring you a lilt of joy, a smile of happiness, Irish laughter and, not the least, the Blessings of Patrick Himself;
