So former Pres. Bill Clinton says its ok to "experiment on unfertilized embryos". I'm guessing life sciences weren't his favorite subjects.

He insists that embryonic stem cell research is ok "if the embryos cannot be fertilized and become little babies". Yeah. What's more amazing than that is Dr. Sanjay Gupta, chief medical correspondent for CNN, never bothered to explain the ridiculousness of that statement to him. He seemed to just go on with the interview like that made sense. He must have gone to Indiana University, with their, "if I pretend I didn't hear that, I don't have to acknowledge the problem with my idea" theory - like IU professors who believe the media favors conservatives. Yep - makes perfect sense.

Of course, this should be expected. After all, misspelling potato is a sign of impending disaster - and implying that Russia is close enough to your home that you could feel like it is in your backyard is a sign that you are dumb as a box of rocks - but thinking that embryos are unfertilized, haploid cells when you have made policy decisions about deciding the fate of these little critters is really immaterial. So if Ph.Ds statistically prove that conservatives really have the upper hand with the media, it must be so. After all, it falls right in line with what was taught in Logic 101.
