Resolves game functional or operational difficulties or failures, such as problems with card readers, VFDs, LCDs, NAMBs, printers, dispensers, or depositories.
Maintains prompt, open, and complete communication between customers and our personnel.
Performs fault analysis, fault isolation and repairs failures in the following systems and assemblies: CPU assembly, I/O board assembly, power supply assemblies, coin mechanism, general illumination devices and assemblies, backplane and/or cabinet harnessing, video monitor and touch screen assemblies, progressive controllers, meters, drivers, and harnessing, bill validator assemblies, slot information systems communicators, card readers and harnessing, cabinet and door hardware assemblies, power switching, circuit breaker, utility power assemblies, thermal printer assemblies, and coin hopper assemblies.
Maintain game operability by performing scheduled routine cleaning and checkups; report complete and accurate information on service logs. May install or service our casino management system at various casino customer sites.
Analyzes failures and makes recommendations for design changes to Engineering.
Uses current and available technical publications and game percentage sheets to analyze game performance and advises management, gaming regulators, and customer representatives of possible failures resulting in player disputes.
Demonstrates excellent technical and troubleshooting skills to consistently achieve customer resolution and satisfaction.
Prepares and/or completes work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment; coordinates returns or exchanges of material.
Confers with Sales and other departments to ensure release to ship and customer enhancements are complete.
Assists in planning personnel schedules, ensuring safety procedures, and contingency planning for unforeseen circumstances in the field.
Reports to senior manager any discrepancies or problems requiring resolution
Associate's degree or gaming or technical school diploma minimum, or combination of education and experience in gaming industry.
