I hate to disappoint a good rant but ... As of 12:35 (EDT), DJ is up 107.76, NASDAQ is up 20.19 and S & P is up 12.27.

To me "Rant" has always had the connotation of being a bit on the verbose side. I don't think HM's 20 words (10 of which are the thread title) constitute a "Rant". Perhaps a run to a thesaurus is in order?

Geithner was the economic genius that would save the economy and he had to be selected and approved because HE was the only person in all of the US who could do the job, so what if he had a little bit of a tax cheat history, We Needed Him.
So how has the dow done since then?
