Hi...
Thank you, Mr Hannity, for offering this service on your site. I met my wife at a church pancake breakfast, it would be so cool to find a job on a conservative site like yours.
I'm a 43 year old, formerly syndicated/still aspiring cartoonist, seeking employment in "any" creative field. From 2000 to 2003, my positive, Christian comic strip called Potluck Parish, was with United Feature Syndicate. It features a pastor, his secretary/housekeeper and the slightly dysfunctional parish they run. I've since re-done all of those strips (one improves with practice), and have over 500 unpublished ones. I also wrote and illustrated 2 holiday books, told in comic strip form, based on my characters. My premise is not to preach, but just to bring a little faith life to the mainstream media. To date, Catholic publications seem to think it's not religious enough, and secular publications think it's too religious. Unbelievable.
Additionally, I have 90 editions of another strip called "Gary Burghoff's THE HOME". This is a strip about seasoned citizens who empower themselves, and was created by Gary Burghoff (actor from MASH and Your a Good Man, Charlie Brown). I write, illustrate and collaborate with Gary on it.
In addition to that, I have a short children's book called The Monsters Go To The Library, that I am trying to get published. It's designed to appeal to kids of any age (1 to 100), who like spooky fun. It's also designed to get kids to read.
I have a Bachelors in Communications (radio/TV), but find myself employed at a local Walmart. In April, Bearmanor Media will be releasing a book I co-authored (with Ed Solomonson) on TV's MASH. We are both fans, and were fortunate enough to find a publisher who was interested. At 43, I finally got married last November. I took care of my sainted mom for years. She and my dad passed to Heaven, in 2007. I know they are praying this country, and the world, embrace conservative principles.
So, that's me. I guess I'm seeking employent in any fashion where I can utilize my God-given talents. This can mean either getting my current works out there, or starting something new. If anyone needs an illustrator, please let me know.
