So, Obama mentiond during a report on increasing education standards that he did believed that teachers who were not showing progress in raising standards should be allowed to keep their jobs. He said
"I reject a system that rewards failure and protects a person from its consequences."

Does he hold this same rationale for home-owners who over-extended themselves on their financial obligations....

I recently read an article pertaining to Obama taking on the teachers Union, that said this: "If they can do that in South Korea, we can do it right here in the United States of America," Obama said.
So now we have to follow suit to other countries???
Doesn't that kind of follow suit to "if they jump off a bridge should we also?"
Why can't America do what is best for America regardless of what other countries do? what works in south korea may not be what works in the United States of America!!

Come on - give the guy a little credit. After all, he was just reading what was on the teleprompter..

I think that we SHOULD do what they do in other countries when it comes to what is being taught in schools.

BUT that would require that ALL students have to LEARN in ENGLISH!!

Nope, Obama doesn't think before he speaks - if he does it without a teleprompter.

And who can trust him when he does speak? He has broken so many promises starting right off when he promised McCain how he would fund his campaign.

I also find him irritating to listen to. I am talking about the way he speaks. He is not a very good speaker. I don't know why the press gives him a pass. One thing I learned in College was to stop the 'uhs'. He seems to be able to do that if he has a teleprompter.

I find him to be a dullard. A lazy dullard. Look at his work history, and I would guess that he probably has a history of being late, or being absent. I don't think we will ever know unless someone comes forward who used to go to school with him and verifies it.

He might have a high IQ, or whatever, but his laziness and his being given things just because he is black, or good looking, or whatever has caused him to be lazy. I also think that he didn't realize that this job as President is going to take more out of him than he realizes and we will see an Obama that will get irritated quite often because he is already showing himself to be a paranoid. Some even say a narcissist. And this I say because of his over concern with those who don't agree with him. It is a left wing liberal trait to hate those who disagree with them, and this guy really is bothered by it. As a President he didn't realize it would be right in his face and it is bothering him. You can tell by his immediate reactions in his speeches.

There is no thought in his speeches, except to make sure to cut down Bush. And no matter what you say about Bush - he never did that to Clinton. I find Obama a petty, lazy dullard.

If I keep writing I will just add more disgusting adjectives to him so I will stop.

Did he have a teleprompter to guide him. Without one he is a blithering idiot!

I can't wait to go to my son's teacher conference to ask the teach if she thinks she's one of Obama's "Army of Super Teachers". And how afraid she is of his decision to support merit pay, and fire the bad teachers.

Oh, I didn't mention, she was the one who back at our October conference had her Obama signs delivered to the classroom while we were sitting there (oops what a blunder) and also told us that it didn't matter if our son learned math, he'd always have a calculator. So she started it. haha

Short answer, no Obama doesn't think and it doesn't matter if he contradicts himself. Remember, we have short attention spans and won't catch him.

Obama is the biggest dummy America has ever had for President, the way to get him is to shut off his tele-prompter when he speaks in front of big crows and make sure that he never uses his yele-prompter again.

President Barrack "Teleprompter" Obama .

The real question is, does Obama think at all? My theory is that he is a trained performer imitating a politician imitating a conscious being.

Or we can spin the question around a bit -

Seeing that there is an obvious, and simple answer. Why did you feel the need to ask the question?
